Graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in Biology/Pre-Med from SUNY Stony Brook in 1972
Graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA in 1976
Residency training in Internal Medicine at Berkshire Medical Center, Pittsfield, MA (U. Mass Medical affiliated training program)
Board Certified in Internal Medicine in Sept 1980
Practicing medicine in Albany since 1979
Over the past 29 years has contributed to the local news media on a variety of health care topics of interest to the region. Has been published in the Times Union, and appeared on the local ABC, CBS and NBC news affiliates.
Medical researcher, consultant and advisory board member to Prothera and Vitaline (now part of Enzymatic Therapy, Inc.) Has helped research and develop nutriceutical and herbal formulas for the treatment of obesity, osteoarthritis and prostate disorders.
